I am sorry to say, but i think my sensor i broken. It only flash red light, but it dont push pin up or down.
I updated my marlin firmware with the help of the instructions from this site http://www.geeetech.com/blog/tag/3dtouc ... ng-sensor/

i use manual codes ( M280 P0 S10 ; pushes the pin down )

But no reaction another than blinking red light?

What should i do?

Before printing all axis is going to home and that is a problem for z axis because it has no limit switch and because the sensor is using that terminal.
It does not perform auto leveling, . This must be a software thing, but i followed the manual for GT2560.

What can i do?

Ps. Sorry my bad english, i am Norwegian

You can show me more details about the issue,or you can attach a video from Youtube.
PS.There is no need to use a Z limit switch with 3D-Touch(3D-Touch detects 5 points on the bed.).

Hi to everybody,

yesterday, I mounted this sensor , on my I3 Pro B but, but all work bad.
I did the modifications on Firmware Marlin, in Configuration.h and pins.h, like in the instructions.
I saw the wiki , where is an explanation of calibration : http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... ing_Sensor

After that , every time the printer start , does the controls and when it started to print, the nozzle is , at least, 1mm from the bed.

Thanks in advance
Bye
Marco

@Marco
So you mean the Sensor works fine during the calibration but the nozzle is not in the right position when printing?
If you do,decrease the value "-1.4" in the following codes:

Code: Select all

#define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -1.4
You can decrease it to "-1.9" first to see if it makes a difference.
