Control board Fan not turning ON
Hi Just wondering when the control board fan turns on? I have not seen it turn on yet. Is there a set temperature in the firmware that it turns on? I haven't looked through the entire firmware but thinking such information might be in there, or should it come on the moment the printer is switched on...

Re: Extruder Not Working, Prusa I3 Aluminium
Ok thanks, 5mins seems reasonable. The heater (extruder) was tested same method as your referred link showed 3.5ohm , which agreed with your reading. The heating wires on the heat bed (large red wires soldered to heat bed ) showed 1.8 ohm. Upon turning on the printer (at idle) the LCD shows 25/0 47/...

Re: Aluminum X3 Printer - Extruder does not reach set temp
Hi I adjusted output voltage to be 12.04V , issue still remains. I checked voltage at the board terminal and it was 12.04V. I also checked continuity at the wires between the board and the extruder. I also checked voltage at the wires as they enter the heating element and found12.04V on one wire and...

Re: Extruder not working
Hi I am having issue 1, the extruder is not reaching the minimum temperature. It only gets to 90/200. I have verified the stepper motor actually works by plugging it into my y axis and manually moving the axis with the LCD screen and knob.i also have confirmed the voltage to be at least 0.8V on all ...

Re: Extruder Not Working, Prusa I3 Aluminium
I ran repetier host in manual control and turned on both extruder and heat bed and it maintained voltage, ( I adjusted as you suggested and brought it up to 12.0V , by which on heating it was very stable over a period of 10mins. However in this space of time the extruder only reached max 90deg (most...

Re: MK2a thermistor of heatbed resistance?
Hi Eric 1. Geeetech Aluminum Prusa I3, with Sanguinololu board. 2. I retested and applied a little more force to the connection, attached should be the picture of what I was asking. I now have a reading and it is shown in both cases on the multimeter within each picture. Thermistor appears to be 4.5...

MK2a thermistor of heatbed resistance?
HI Just wondering if there should be any resistance between the 2 wires on the MK2a thermistor on the heatbed? I tried testing but got no result. I am thinking there should be resistance between these 2 wires. I am wondering because I am not able to get a reading from my multimeter, and just switchi...

Extruder Not Working, Prusa I3 Aluminium
Context: I have Prusa I3A (Sanguinololu board) , setup with Repitier Host. I live in Australia so 220V is the mains voltage and I have ensured that the PSU switch is set to 220V. I have checked voltage output at the PSU between both the V+ and both COM terminals, when the printer is at "idle", and i...

Re: How to connect your printer to Repetier Host
Hi
I tried all things as per your your instructions but I have no success. As mentioned I get some steps to work and then something eventually fails.
Am I able to get a replacement board?
