The Z step seems not correct, it goes up too much as it should.
If you have T8 rode, try to calibrate the proper Z step/mm.

Re: Firmware upgrade prevents saving of leveling settings (v1.26.36)
Haven't seen this problem before, I try with version 1.29.36. Change the Z value in leveling, connect to Easyprint, check the value after rebooting, disconnect and try change Z value again. The value can be saved every time, the same as it was set. Easyprint3D version: 1.2.6, did you work with this ...

You can try this for reference: viewtopic.php?f=70&t=60980
But it was used with the old version Cura, try to figure out a proper configuration setting for your exact printer and filament.

Re: New build major issues
The Z step seems not correct, it goes up too much so that filament cannot attach together. You can make it move 100mm, then measure how far it actually goes, test for several times, then calibrate the proper Z step/mm. For other Z-axis issue, please check this post first: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Re: replace nozzle from geeetech but problems
Where did it clog? In the nozzle or PTFE tube? Can you unclog it with thimble?
What kind of filament, and what's the configuration, temp, nozzle diameter, retraction and so on?

Re: print quality
thanks for replying. i set the nozzle diameter at 0.3 mm and the layer height at 0.35 for the first layer then 0.3 for the rest. i haven't collaborated the esteps and i don't know how to. You can try layer height with 0.15-0.2mm for other layers, 0.2-0.3mm for the first layer. How to calibrate the ...
