Mecreator2 - how to tighten the X belt?
I'm having some issues with the X-belt. It seemed a bit loose from the beginning, but only after few small test prints it became loose enough to induce layer misalignment. I see the belt has no tensioner on it and I don't know how to tension it. Do I have to remove the entire printing head? A tutori...

Re: How-To Replace Belt on X-Axis on Mecreator
Indeed some instructions would be useful for replacing the X-axis belt on MeCreator2. From what I could see, the belt is fastened under the carriage with some plates and screws from atop. I assume the entire extruder assy has to be removed in order to tamper with the belt. Also, there doesn't seem t...

Re: MeCreator 2 Z-Axis stuck
My printer is new and it has the same issue. If the bed goes too low, it will lock and motor will start making strange noises. I assume is a design flaw (or firmware)... Be careful also when manually moving the bed! The printer won't remember last Z position if turned off and then try moving the bed...

Bed is not flat, what are the options?
My MeCreator2 is new - arrived yesterday. When leveling the bed, I noticed that the bed is a bit bulged in the center compared to the corners. There is about 0.5mm raise in the center. I am not sure if this is within the accepted parameters, or the bed requires change. Just to clarify: MeCreator2 be...

Timing belt squeaky sound. Can be lubricated?
I have this newly purchased MeCreator2 and I lubricated the rods with PTFE, which reduced a bit the overall noise, but there is this squeak which I assume it comes from the teeth of the timing belts rubbing against the pulley. Would cause any potential problem if I'd use graphite powder to lubricate...

Is it possible to install a dual extruder on the MeCreator 2?
This printer (MeCreator 2) has a great combination of features. I was wondering if the hardware/software would support a quite extensive hacking by adding a dual extruder like the AxxM series have. The reason why I would be interested in such modification is the 0.05mm layer height resolution which ...
