Re: I've printed noodles...

Hi, You don't say which rod you have on your printer... Let's assume that you have the T8 leadscrews (These are better ! - You may want to change to them if you don't !) You need to have '400' as the value set - as if you have '2560' then you'll just print noodles after the first layer - which is ex...

Re: i3 pro B can not save firmware

Hi Fousekis, Have you actually 'Saved' the settings ? - Changes are not saved unless the printer is told to save them ! When you change settings from within a program - eg Repetier or other, then you have to follow these changes by sending the gcode 'm500' to force the eeprom within the printer to s...

Re: Extruder stop pushing

Hi Miguelballay, If / When I have a problem with the extruder I try the following... Lift the head well clear of the bed so that it's in free space. Get the extruder up to temperature - (Feed problems generally arise when the temperature is too low, not too high) Release the feed cog by pushing on t...

Re: I3 pro B setup... HELPPPP

Hi JKendall, Just some thoughts... You say the Z axis motors 'Vibrate' but don't turn... Have you tried taking the rods out completely and seeing if they turn ? If they do, then there's too much resistance in turning the rods - Hence a mechanical problem, not electrical... Have you tried moving the ...

Re: Assembled - now what

Hi Maddy, I've posted all this before, but it was easy to copy and paste it here... So you've reached the point that I dreaded with my i3 Pro B Build... I guessed the actual assembly would be easy enough, but getting the thing to make a print ??? ! I had never even heard of 'Repetier', Arduino, marl...

"Miles" (Another boring new identity),
Don't you get fed up of this post being the same every time - Nothing new to say ?
Hardly creative.
Go away.

Re: Extruder making noise and don't move after a few

Hi Zolric, In case you were not aware... You can get an aluminium replacement version very cheap on ebay ! This is better than the plastic version. Gerry Example on UK ebay would be ebay item number 143490328137 https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=143490328137&_sacat=0

Re: Need help with getting printer to work..

Hi fairyg, You say you don't know what stl files or gcode files are... stl files are a general type of 3d model files - like jpg files are pictures, stl files are solid models. The printer cannot read stl files directly. The stl files are loaded into 'Slicing' software and then exported to give a se...

Re: Printing on glass bed plate

Hi, I've no idea if this will help - But it won't cost much to try it... I only print in PETG - so not exactly the same - but I use blue masking tape... The cheap stuff you get from a DIY store. I have a roll that's 50mm wide, so 4 strips laid from left to right looking at the print bed, one behind ...

Re: Printer stucked after heating.

I would always recommend starting to print far slower than you first think ! People go on about how fast their printer is - but start slowly and build from there. If you're worried about print speed - try using a 0.4mm nozzle, my i3 Pro B came with a 0.3mm nozzle Doesn't sound like a big difference ...
