I would also like to formally invite Geeetech employees (especially tech support) to join us as well. I ask that you do not use our grou...

Re: Rostock 301, new firmware changelog

I think if we were able to edit the firmware ourselves it would probably save Geeetech a lot of tech support problems.

Re: Rostock 301, new firmware changelog

It is definitely Marlin which means the source code is required to be openly available.

We would still need a way to turn the code into a file that would be flashable for an stm32 based system.

Re: Prints not centring on bed? MeCreator2

All MeCreator 2s come from the factory printing 10mm to the left on the X. Make sure you have the latest firmware. Navigate to Y0 X10 Z0 and then go to the menu item that reads something like Reset Home Offsets. Click it and you will hear a loud beep and then next time you print it will print in the...

Re: Setting the axes X and Y is wrong. Please, help.

From my experience with two MeCreator 2s I would say check your X belt. Both of mine came with an X belt that is somewhat too loose.

Your belt should sound like a low bass guitar string being plucked. My X belts didn't even make a sound when plucked because they were so loose.

Hey Bill,

Sorry to hear about your troubles I have a 301 I am building and the more I look at it the less I see the point of the "Diamond hotend"

Would you mind sharing your E3D adaptor? I will very likely go this route as well...

Rostock 301 Extruder Fans

What are the 3 fans on the motors of the 301 used for? I have never seen a bowden with a fan on the motor like that before.
