you mean no matter how long you move the z axis, it will moves all the way of the axis? Even when you change the steps, also the same just the speed changed, right? Could you home the printer normally? Could it be possible the problem of the motor or motor wire? I think you can plug the z axis motor...

I don't know what's your endstop like, but the voltage of the fan and heat sockets is 12V, maybe you can use this power? I'm not sure...

1.Check your PSU. Disconnect the PSU with the board, check the voltage of between "+V" and "com" pins of PSU with a multimeter , for GT2560 and GTM32 pro, it should be 12V, for GTM32, it should be 24V. Do you mean I should try changing drivers to a different slot like say switching X-axis and Z-axis to see if the problem changes - that would identify if one driver was the problem! Or do you mean I should buy new drivers and swap all of them out? I don't know which direction your print is jumping....
