EEPROM settings - clear?

I use the GT2560.
How do I make sure I use the settings from the firmware, not some settings stored in the EEPROM?

(I am preparing for my 1st print - so sorry if the queston is a bit stupid ;-))

Repetier host version

The WIKI page of the GT2560 links to an old version of Repetier host. (version 1_0_0)
Can I just download and use the newest version from http://www.repetier.com/download-now/ ?

Extruder fan and spring settings

I finished the basic assembly of my Pro B. Now I have two questions regarding the extruder. 1. The fan is running constantly after switching on the printer. Even if not printing. backup firmware

I assambled my printer. (pro B)
The stock firmware seems to work, beside the XAxis moving in the wrong direction.

Before I aplpy the new firmware I would like to backup the stock firmware. Is there a way to do this?

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers

Just a small question:
Is the configuration on the provided firmware allreday fitted to the printers?

I ask because Y-Max is set to 210. But when I move the YAxis to 210 the bed stops moving bevore the 210. 200 is fine.

Re: Heatbed not plain

The problem is solved by tightening the screws which hold the heat bed. If they are pulled tight the bed straightens.
