Re: Hardened steel nozzle for A10M/A20M? Anyone tried them?

The issue is that Geetech use their own threads. I tried ordering various MK10 (M7 size) nozzles for my A10M and they all have a different thread rake on them, and/or different internal diameter. Geeetech were very clever at only selling you THEIR nozzles. Too clever, as I will not be buying Geeetec...

Re: What kind of nozzle is on A10M?

That's what I found out too. The inner diameter is something they don't tell you and I noticed it was bigger. I didn't know how it would affect it, and I printed a couple of things but it leaked like a bitch anyway so I put the original back on. I had assumed it was just a cheap steel nozzle or I ju...

Re: What kind of nozzle is on A10M?

Last cheap one I bought on Amazon for my A10M which was 5mm leaked all over the place. Haven't tried any others since. The internal diameter didn't seem to match.

Re: A10M keeps dying mid print!

Well they sent a replacement PSU from China which took 2 weeks and it looks like a newer model. The fan seems to be on constantly now, not just when it gets hot. Hopefully this will keep it alive longer.

Re: hot end voltage

Thanks. I was thinking the same, but I do believe they have used a 12V cooling fan on a 24V circuit so anything's possible with Geeetech.

Re: hot end voltage

I thought of verifying with a multimeter, but I'm waiting on a new power supply since the last one died. It might be another week and I didn't want to wait. The power supply is 24V. I didn't know the control boards came in different versions for the A10M? No idea what one I have. I bought 3 months a...

Re: Geeetech glass bed - clean and temp issue

I tried that stuff and it seemed to have no effect on the PLA. I might as well have used water.
The water didn't seem to clean anything, however after cleaning with it, I did get better adhesion. 1 think I do now to get better adhesion is up the flow rate on the first layer
