Re: Geeetech A10 with GT2560 V3 suddenly died

Tech support asked me for the order number, so I expect that they can forward that to the sales.

do all A10s have mega board?
I am not aware of an A10s made by Geeetech. There exists printers named A10s, but they are not made by Geeetech and seemed to be brandless.
So you might be in the wrong forum.

Re: Marlin 1.1.9 for new A10 edition with BLtouch and filament runout detection

My Board is broken before I could test this fork. Support agreed to send me a new one, but they stopped to answer my emails. So I can't test this anytime soon.

Re: Geeetech A10 with GT2560 V3 suddenly died

Geeetech support agreed to send me a new board, but after I sent them the ordering information, all communications stopped. No reaction anymore on my emails. They sell the board now for $52, but before I go this way, I will better change to a MKS Gen L. It is much cheaper and I have better experienc...

Re: Geeetech A10 with GT2560 V3 suddenly died

I'm afraid that without a diagnosis you may not get a new controller board quickly. There is nothing left I could do without using a soldering iron. Next step would be to lift up the pin 3 of the MP2303A from the PCB, to check whether this chip is the culprit, or one of the diodes and capaci...

Re: Geeetech A10 with GT2560 V3 suddenly died

It is a pity that you did not come up with it to show the PCB from below. In the diagnosis a visual check is a very important step. But you know it and you certainly looked carefully at whether the PCB does not have any damage, or a foreign element. ;) Yes, there was nothing. I have seen the...

Re: Geeetech A10 with GT2560 V3 suddenly died

But it is also important to dismantle the controller board. I liked your implicit idea, that there might be a shortcut under the board, but that was not the case . The video is mainly for the Geeetech support that asked me to check the fuses! Why do they ask me this nonsense? How can a blown fuse m...

Re: Geeetech A10 with GT2560 V3 suddenly died

You have disconnected all cables from the controller board, which is not insignificant. ;) Not everyone does that. I am a programmer by profession, so it seemed to be logic to proceed like this. But it is also important to dismantle the controller board. Of course, but I didn't do it in the first p...
