Re: Dual Extrusion - Extruder 2 not working

Ah, nevermind, I just saw that the original board only comes with 4 4988 stepper drivers, so the one for the second extruder is missing. Have to order an additional one.

I tested it by switching the stepper driver from E1 to E2 and it works.

I already configered the Configuration.h file and uploaded the firmware. dual extrusion.PNG So far heating and temperature reading of hotend 1 and hotend 2 are working fine. Extruder 1 is working fine. However, extruder 2 is not working at all. I changed the...

Changing heatbed dimensions

Hey everyone, I modified my printer and upgraded to a bigger heatbed. However, the maximum dimensions of the heatbed seem to be set in the firmware of the printer: It is not possible to move out of the original dimensions of the heatbed. The printer just stops. Regards manual control and generated g...

Re: Easyprint 1.2.6 new bug discovered

Hi, but in fact, the support is to protect your dangling parts, so you don't need to adjust the values very much. So are you saying: "Yes, there is a bug in the software, I was wrong to doubt you. The software is not working as intended, but I don´t care, because I tell you, that you do not need th...

Re: Easyprint 1.2.6 new bug discovered

I just read a good tutorial on how to improve the print quality when using support. There they experimented with different Z distances. I would very much appreciate it, if this feature was added in a future version of easyprint.

Re: Easyprint 1.2.6 new bug discovered

OH, you can observe the distance transform I set However, we set up support to ensure that the suspended parts do not fall. So can't be set too big. Yes, I can confirm that there is a difference between values <1 mm and >1 mm but there is no difference between values <1 mm. So let´s say 0,1 mm isn´...

Re: Easyprint 1.2.6 new bug discovered

Yes, you can set the value but it does not have any effect on the model. I also enabled support interface. I don´t know if this has any influence on it. I took a few screenshots. Here I set the Z-distance to 1 mm. The gap is clearly visible: Z distance 1 mm.JPG Here I set the Z-distance to 0,9 mm. T...

Easyprint 1.2.6 new bug discovered

Hallo there, I am currently experimenting with different support settings. There I noticed a bug (I think): Eaysyprint 1.2.6 --> Slicing Settings --> Parameters (---> enable support) --> Z distance: This parameter seems to define the distance between the actual print and the support. The default set...

@Kibo
Low current will activate power-off detection module and then restart your machine.
You can replace capacity by ultracapacitor and remove the detection module.
How could a low current occur?
