Re: Printer stucked after heating.

I would always recommend starting to print far slower than you first think ! People go on about how fast their printer is - but start slowly and build from there. If you're worried about print speed - try using a 0.4mm nozzle, my i3 Pro B came with a 0.3mm nozzle Doesn't sound like a big difference ...

Re: Newbie in problems

Hi pfuente, Your printer looks all but identical to my 'Geeetech i3 Pro B'. If you're ever looking at Thingiverse (Good place for student printing projects ?) there's a photo of my machine here... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3616021 OK, I have fitted a component fan and bed-probe, but you can ...

Re: Extruder and bed are not heating up enough

Heater block looks right.
Mine has no plug, just bare wires on the end.
Cheap to try as a fix...

Re: Can I do Timelapse by using EasyPrint 3D?

Hi Nasir, Just one brief follow up observation... I've never used 'EasyPrint 3D', but I do use 'Slic3r PE' This is the version as shipped with Prusa printers - it's available for download FREE ! With this software, it's VERY easy to put in a couple of lines of code that WILL be inserted automaticall...

Re: Assembled - now what

Hi Chaplin, So you've reached the point that I dreaded with my i3 Pro B Build... I guessed the actual assembly would be easy enough, but getting the thing to make a print ??? ! I had never even heard of 'Repetier', Arduino, marlin, nor several other names of software thrown at me... So where to begi...

Re: Extruder and bed are not heating up enough

Hi Jon, So the bed heats up, but the nozzle doesn't... I would first re-check the connections on the heater block, make sure they're correct and tight. Sounds like the heater in the block may be broken ? If all checked and no error found, you could replace the heater block - they're not expensive......

Re: Lead screw upgrade

Hi Jhonmicky, If you open your 'configuration.h' file in the marlin folder (Any text editor will do) You will see where the axis steps per mm are set - about 1/3rd the way down the file. If you had ordinary 8mm rod in your printer, you will see a line where the z axis has a value of 2560... For your...

Re: Z axis motors moving in opposite direction to each other!!!

Hi,
I've heard of this problem before...
One builder had a circuit board with an incorrectly mounted socket...
It can be solved.
This post thread may help you...

Re: Recurring begining failure

Hi Juan183, You don't say what first layer height you've chosen. What material ? What nozzle temperature and bed temperature ? Are you using anything on the glass to help first layer adhesion ? - Any glue or spray ? Once you have made certain the bed is level... I periodically manually check all fou...

Re: Extruder and bed are not heating up enough

Hi Jon, Just a thought... You don't have the scroll wheel set all the way back to the black acrylic do you ??? If so, it won't push in and 'Click' to select... It should be set with the wheel a couple of mm OFF the acrylic leaving it room to move backwards when pushed... Loosen the grub screw, move ...
