The rods are made of tempered steel. Burring or grinding the rod ends can be difficult and can damage the rods. If I had a driller I would drill through the locking ring to make it few mil larger.

Send an email to Geeetech to send firmware file. They will send you a folder containing all the files you need to install the firmware "Marlin-PI3_Pro_B". I had similar problems. Use Geedtech firmware file. Use it without modifications. Do not use GitHub marlin file. It needs lot of tweeking and may not work.

I am having a problem of stand alone printing using SD card. Has anybody had success? The LCD panel recognises the sd-card insertion but it cannot read the gcode files. Message on the LCD panel displays "not files found".

I had similar problem. I installed new version of firmware. Then everything worked OK.

Solved. The stop end micro switch has to be plugged into "Z-Min". :lol:
