Re: Settings and Control windows are too small

Why bother with this cut down, unfriendly and buggy program. Repetier works!!!!

Easy print should be only introduced when all simple functions actually work or bugs are quickly fixed. Not to see the full dialog box is disgraceful!!!

I think Geeetech should retire from software efforts,

MAXTEMP triggered

MAXTEMP triggered - I get this error in the log and the machine is dead. A temperature of 499 deg c is noted!!!! I am using a single print head and swapping this with a new one (thermistor and heating element) does not solve the problem. Moreover swapping everything over to the Extruder Two channel ...

Re: Supply correct diameter of smooth rods.

There is no work around that can turn 7.91 mm rods into 8.00 diameter which is required to fit a 8.00 mm linear bearing!!!! The suggestion to tighten the circular collets will not change the rod diameter or reduce wobble to that of near enough to zero that a 8.00 diameter rod provides. The hard chro...

Supply correct diameter of smooth rods.

My smooth rods as supplied are undersize and cause much wobble. They are 7.91 mm diameter NOT 8.00 mm diameter.

Re: Heat bed

It is likely you bed is out of specification. The cold resistance specification is 1.0 to 1.2 Ohms and if higher than this you bed cannot draw enough current to reach ABS temperatures. A common failing even of new beds!!!!!!!

Re: hotbed/extruder is not heated up(GT2560/GTM32/sanguinolo

The cold resistance of the 12 V bed should be between 1.00 and 1.20 ohms (NOT 1-2 Ohms) beds with higher ohms are not to specification and will not heat to 110 deg or take a long time with a required overhead 120 deg Max. To get a accurate measure of resistance of the bed's element both Voltage and ...

Re: Prusa I3 X bed Temp problem

Olaf Measure the resistance the board's element at room temperature. To reach 110 deg c in a reasonable time at 12 Volts line voltage a resistance must be 1.20 ohms or less 12v boards are specified at 1.0 to 1.2 ohms and must fall into this range to reach 110 deg c in a reasonable time with overhead...
