Re: 2 wire fan connector for GT2560 board?

Sorry. it took me awhile to realize that there is no speed control with these fans and I didn't need to hook them into the board. All I needed a was a straight connection to the power supply for them.

Thanks

Re: 2 wire fan connector for GT2560 board?

For some reason, I am having to post twice for it to display once here tonight. Anyway, I suppose that I could make the same thing. Wire, pin connector, and shrink-wrap. But that does not seem like a secure connection. I was hoping for a connector name and model to make a more secure connection. Tha...

Re: 2 wire fan connector for GT2560 board?

I suppose that I could make the same thing. Simple wire, pin connector and shrink-wrap. But I don't see that as being a secure connection, which is why I was trying to figure out the connector.

2 wire fan connector for GT2560 board?

Dumb question that I simply don't know the answer to. And yes, I am a novice. I am installing a 2 wire fan which will need to be plugged into my GT2560 board. I tried making an adapter with 2 wires going into a 3 wire JST plug, but my JST connectors won't fit the plug in the GT2560 board. I have a s...

Re: Possible solutions for motors do not move

I guess that I should have relied long before now. The problem turned out to be that belt was rubbing against itself in the X-Carriage bracket. A new X-Carriage bracket with more clearance cured this problem.

Re: Total print shutdown both USB & SC Card

I just replied, but I forgot to add that I had already tried a couple of USB cables. That was my 1st thought. But since they both could be bad, I will try a couple of more later.

Thanks

Re: Total print shutdown both USB & SC Card

While I seem to have several computer devices, netbook (running Linux Mint), Android smartphone, tablet, Chromebook, etc. But my 6 year old laptop computer is the only one which has enough memory and resources to deal with creating 3D files, then running the software and this printer. (8 GB of memor...

Re: Total print shutdown both USB & SC Card

Sorry Mark, I mistakenly thought that I had already replied to your question. All of the connection setting are exactly the same as they have always been. Nothing has changed in the connection settings. However, the card reader did start working. There may have been a weak connection, since it start...

Re: Total print shutdown both USB & SC Card

One more thing, I have gotten the SD Card reader to start working again. Don't ask me what I did because I really don't know.

Re: Total print shutdown both USB & SC Card

I am getting an error that communication with the board is not allowed. I first checked my firewall log to see if there was a message there, but there wasn't. When I connect the printer, the connected devices icon for the printer shows up like normal. But I simply can not communicate with it.
