Re: The Restock 301(STM32 Pro Board) Firmware Burning Steps

Nope still does it...way less, but still retracts too much and you loose filament continuum.

Re: The Restock 301(STM32 Pro Board) Firmware Burning Steps

I think I have found a possible cause...
when you increase the filament extrusion multiplier...for a thicker print..for example.
the retraction rate goes up exponentially...so much so, it voids the head of all filament...

Can you fix this?

It does not seem to be an issue on the Pro C or M201....

Re: The Restock 301(STM32 Pro Board) Firmware Burning Steps

well what happens is ...I start the print by heating.. I make sure I run out 50mill of filament, then home everything then hit the print button....it starts the perimeter run..then when ever it changes direction or later, moves to the next layer...the retraction starts...its half way up the tube and...

Re: Rostock 301

well I'm not sure but it seems to come about when ever the unit prints then it retracts 150mm exactly...and then it goes to the next move or layer and tries to print...but the filament is half way back up the tube...you can clearly see it...very perplexing...cannot find any control in the software t...

Re: Noisy brass threaded follower on Z axis

Rods are all straight just at one spot it howls....I am going to try putting a flat spot on the brass nut between it and the bearing and see it that helps with the alignment...it rubs hard against the bearing when putting it in place and before you tighten it down...as you tighten you can feel resis...
