It was the code used. There was a hyphen before the thermistor assignment creating the conflict.

Thanks for the assistance. Resolved the MAXTEMP error. It was a firmware setting issue.

I managed to place a jumper on T0 and it force the readout to jump to 0 degrees. When i did that the err code changed from a max temp err to a min temp err. Is the board faulty?

It looks clean, there are not solder bridging any points. Is this a software fault? Can I reset the firmware to address the problem? If so how?

Will check on the DRV voltage and step settings. However, for the thermistor circuit i checked and there are no shorts. What can be the problem? I have switched betwen two thermistors. One thing though. With out the thermistor installed in T0 the LCD reads 500 degrees, after i have installed the the...
