This Rostock mini G2S pro upgraded delta 3D printer -Rostock mini G2S.
Compared to its predecessor, this G2s pro has two major merits, it looks cooler and it works better.
The printing effector of the G2s pro is upgraded with metal parts, which are more durable and stable than the prints. The whole machine is craft out of high-quality aluminum and laser cut acrylic plate, making it more stable and smooth when printing, improving the printing accuracy and speed to a higher level.
An metal auto-leveling device is also improved on G2s pro; which means you do not have to adjust it every time before you start printing, and with this new metal leveling device, the calibration will be more accurate.
In terms of printing filament, G2s pro not only supports PLA and ABS, Nylon and wood filament is also available, which enables more possibilities to create 3D printing project.
This G2s pro is powered by our newly designed control system—GT2560 that supports 2 extruders and eliminates the complicated wiring of Mega2560+Ramps 1.4 and it is more space-saving.
With G2s pro you can print a single two-color object, or you can print two objects in one print job, each made from a different color. You can also print one single-color object, as with other single-extruder 3D printers. Or you can use one extruder for infill or support.
This G2s pro is also improved with LCD control panel; you can monitor the printing process in real time and with a SD card it can realize stand-alone printing, very convenient.
Main features:
1.All metal effectors for more stable and smooth printing.
2. With auto-leveling and auto-calibration features.
3. With dual extruder, support multiple way of printing.
4. Support PLA, ABS, Nylon and Wood, giving more possibilities to create 3D printing object.
5. New updated control system.
6. More fluent printing process and higher accuracy.

Hello, i saw i the specification tab : "Layer Resolution: 0.1mm" , It's a mistake or this printer really can not print at 0.3mm layer resolution ?
Hi Gabriel ,what you meant ? You cannot print by 0.3mm or ?
Thinking of purchasing this. Great reviews and cost are the main reasons. Just wondering if it is possible to INCREASE length of the towers to double the available print height? 400mm print height would be great!!
Hello, Do you have upgrade instructions or a package for Marlin 1.1?
Hi Chris ,pls contact to our technican:technical@geeetech.com for help .Have a nice day!
Hi, Very new and beginner to the 3d world. Just purchased and assembled my Delta G2S and started to set up the parameters where the problem comes up. I downloaded Firmware. unzip and copied all files to Ardunio folder, selected board and serial port and then saved all changes. Then, Verify the Firware successfully but when I hit the upload bottom the error comes up after few seconds and the message is timeout communating (I can see the LCD screen on G2S goes and back during uploading). Any thought please?
Hi Ali ,thank you for reaching us and can u email the problem more details by email to our technican ?Thanks
Hi again, I finally solved yesterday the arduino problem, the missing library's came inside the zip file in a separated folder. I also managed to revive the 2560 board originally packed with the G2S. The GT2560 now is a good learning school for setting up the RUMBA board that is on it's way. Everything is now working and calibrated, the overall calibration tolerance on all 3 axes measured on the print bed is now 0.02 on the Z offset Which means it's almost perfectly parallel to the bed surface. It took me several hours BUT the first print of a 20x20x20mm cube was right on the spot! Just 1 remark on the mechanical parts. thread the axes of the rods 10mm longer and use a counter nut to block it instead of lock-tight i broke 2 of them trying to make them all the exact same distance (got that idea from a guy on a forum) luckely i have the tools and know how to make them myself. For the rest, i just love the machine :)
Hi Johan, glad to hear that you solved out the problem finally ,and thank you for your feedback here.
No problem, when my feedback can help people, i'm always glad to help out :-)
thank you for you here.
Hi again, printer is up and running like a beauty, but i think i found a hardware bug. normally when i print PLA fillament on glass with 3D spray i don't turn on the heated bed, that is why it took a while to find out about this. I wanted to print the 20x20x20 test cube with HIPS but the filament would NOT stick to the bed. When probed with a thermometer the heating plate underneath the aluminium bed reaches the desired temperature of 90°C but on top of the aluminium bed i just have around 70°C left. It becomes worse when measured on top of the glass plate where another drop of 20°C is measured with a temperature of 52.7°C. Also (but this IS normal) with the 12V power supply the max temperature of the bed is 90°C. The 130°C as pronounced in the product details can only be achieved by the use of 24V PSU (i found this info by searching around on several 3D forums). This is not the fault of Geeetech. don't get me wrong. I might upgrade everything to 24V later on because i want to print in Nylon but that will be for later on this year. And to sound not all bad, the Rostock G2S Pro is becoming my favorite printer, it is a pleasure to see it print, tomorrow my 3-in-1-out hotend, rumba board and 3th extruder will be delivered, this story is to be continued.
Hi Johan, thank you for your sharing here and do appreciate to your passion on this printer
Hey, I contacted the technical support and they said that the mufset of my extruder #2 is broken, It's like that since it arrived(since I have it). How can I have it replaced ?
Hi Steve ,you can contract the related sales for the replacement.
How do I contact the after sales service (I bought my G2S from geeetech directly)
HI Steve ,sent me your order number to my email :Zina.Luo@geeetech.cn
Hi, i bought a Rostock mini G2S Pro some time ago (about one year) and it works very well with only one extruder. After dozen of unsuccessful calibrations tries I had to take out the second extruder and use it with a single extruder. It will be very helpfull if I could remont the second extruder and make it to work, but I could not find any calibration guide to help me on it. The extruders do not keep the same distance to the bed across different positions. One or other extruder is more near to the bed, depending the position. How to fix it?
Hi Moises ,thank you for reaching us ,you can take this for reference :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCa_Bvx8OWs&list=PLODCkot3Grii_G18_xnM-Qwo1VV2ioejQ about the calibrations .
Hey , run Arduino, go in to the config.h file, about line 111 Delta Radius, and the end of that line adjust the number like explained in the video. if your outer point are higher (test point 2,3,4) as test point 1, i had to fill in a negative number, mine was -8.25 here is the line and take it as an example, every printer needs it's OWN settings. #define DELTA_RADIUS (DELTA_SMOOTH_ROD_OFFSET-DELTA_EFFECTOR_OFFSET-DELTA_CARRIAGE_OFFSET-8.25)
Hello Geeetech I bought the Rostock mini G2S Pro at your german shop and just assembled it, This is a very nice printer and the firsts prints are very nice. The manuals for assembly and configuration are well made and clear. This printer Kit really worth the price !!. Just one question on the bed configuration, in the config files and manual we have a printing radius of 100mm so it will be a 200mm printing bed surface, in the specification it says printing bed diameter 170mm. Is it safe to launch a 200mm part printing or it could brake the printer ?? Cheers Francklin
Hi Francklin ,sorry that it's unsafe for launch 200mm .
Hi Francklin, Keep in mind that especially on dual head printers, the second head also needs to go were the object is located on the bed (i mean the outer limits of the bed. Near the towers there is no way the inner extruder can reach the full radius. (i might be new in 3D printing but i know my way around CNC milling. cheers and have a nice day :-) Johan
Hello, I just finished building my Delta Rostock mini G2S pro. When I power up my printer, the hot end (the nose)#2 is starting eating right away, without asking, event if it's not plugged into the computer. I cannot continue calibrating my printer until it's fixed.
Hi steve, our technican said you check the all the connection again and try to refresh the firmware. If you still have any problem pls kindly email to our technican for help:technical@geeetech.com
Hi Steve, I had pretty much the same problem when i started mine too. Download Arduino, i use the nightly build becausse they update that every day) and when extracted the files to a folder, open the Arduino folder and goto the library map (not the LIB map), there is a .exe in it and it will install additional labrary files. At the Geeetech firmware page download the G2S firmware and let Arduino compile it, upload it with the usb connected. that should do the trick, i revived my board that way too.
hello geeetech i have g2s pro, the problem is the hot end not detected by the printer. i have chose pre heat pla all but the hot end not increase temperature. why?
Hi Gabriel, our technican said you can check whether the voltage of the controller board and some components are nomal ,then measure the value of the extruder hotend and the thermistor by referring this wiki:http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=17039
hi Gabriel, On some boards, yes on mine as wel, the bed heater and extruder 1 heater connectors have switched place, when i first got a working board, the bed was heating instead of the extruder. just had to switch them and all works well now. Greetings, johan
Hello, is it possible to order a replacement aluminum build plate gor the G2S?
Hi Stel ,pls take picture of the part you want to check:Zina.Luo@geeetech.cn
Hello, do you know the average of time I have to wait for mine to be ship ? Thanks
Hi Steve ,could you pls send me your order number to check?
Hello, My power supply fell over and all plastic parts broke. Is there stl files for them in order to print the plates for holding the power button, power socked and supply enclosure? I mean all the plastic parts from this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XK6pdp0YlKM&list=PLODCkot3GriiDS1CVGWfn5wTXEW2gDPrF&index=18 Thanks
Hello Assen ,pls email the detail to our email so that i can check the STL file to you:zina.luo@geeetech.cn
Hi zina, Can you send me the .stl files too? in my pro package there was NO power supply enclosure (also not included on the package list)
Hi JOhan ,could you pls send me the email about this ?
Hi Again Zina, i found an enclosure so i can print it, thanks anyway :-) Have a nice day :)
Hi Johan ,glad to hear that !
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1911814 It Looks nice but my switch cable needs to be about 5cm longer, i'll fix that over the weekend.
Do not use this STL. the whole model is to small and the hole for the power switch is to large. In case of scaling, the switch hole will even become larger. i'm going to design my own enclosure with designspark. I also noticed that one of the power mossfets in the PSU is getting real warm (not extreme, i could hold my hand on that side of the psu for several seconds). When i design a enclosure i'm going to mount 2 40mm fans on top of it, one directly over the component and another one to cool the rest. I'll let you know what i came up with in a few days
Hello, More easy to build and configurre than I thought, I happily and successfully used this printer for two month, but now it's stuck in a loop of constant restart and "Err MAX TEMP". I checked thermistors, plug and unplug all wires but nothing seems to work. I think the board dysfunction, if u have any advices ?
HI Mathieu, sounds great that you can assemble the printer successfully .Could you pls list your problem by details to our technicans :technical@geeetech.com? He will check and give some help. Thanks
Hi! Can I replace the hotends and use the Assembled JIETAI Dual-head Hotends on G2S pro?
Hi ,sorry that cannot.
One of my Acrylic Motor Holder Supports broke because one of the M3 nuts did not seat correctly. Is it possible to buy this replacement part A4 or RK-04?
Hi Peter ,can you contract to my email:zina.luo@geeetech.cn and i send the STL file for you to print by yourself.
Hi a have a question, this printer (mini G2S pro) supports TPU soft rubber materials and Semi-trasparent material like the previous version (G2s)? Then : the in this photo (http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/Geeetech_G2_%26_G2s_pro#where_to_buy) each gray support of the arms is made metallic, but in the photos on the webstore seems like black plastic. It's right, it is metallic or plastic? thanks
Yes ,same as the previous version. And the black parts is the metallic.
Super belle machine.
for all interested http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1722143
Very impressive mods on this printer
Hello, How do i fix the problem with the hotnends going towards the X-axis and hitting the x-axis rods when homing with the repetier host software? I made sure to follow the quick starter instructions, but i'm still having the same issue.
Hi,Clint Make sure all the motor wires are correctly connected and the directions of all motors are right.
Can this printer work with support material that is solvable?
As far as i know, some customer use it to print with HIPS for support.
IRST START G2S MINI PRO EROOR CONTROL DISPLAY MIN TEMP [ FREEZES UP CANT ACCESS HOME]
Seems the thermistor is open circuit, pelase check it's connected well.
Wondering if anyone has a Simplify3D profile for this printer??
Hi, I have weird extruder problem. Extruder is working fine when I control it manually with Repetier, but when I start to print anything nothing comes out. Temperatures are right and PLA is melting when printing but only manually controlled can get it out.
Hi, please contact this e-mail technical@geeetech.com for technical support. Thank you.
Hi, I just bought this printer but LCD is not working. Only black block are visible. I updated firmware and also checked that right LCD is configured in it. Ribbon cables are also assembled correctly.
Hi you can contact this e-mail technical@geeetech.com for technical support. Thank you.
I have the same problem, how can I solve it. Best regards Vicente
Hi, please contact this e-mail technical@geeetech.com for technical support. Thank you.
Hi, I swapped lcd and SD-card cables. I mixed them when connected. Easy solution. Obviously mixing these connectors doesn't break anything...
Anyone worked through a successful Simplify3D profile for this printer?
What type of nozzle/heater does this printer ship with? and which heaters/nozzles from the shop are compatible?
Hi, MK8 nozzle, MK8 hotend. Here is the link of the nozzle: http://www.geeetech.com/brass-m6-nozzle-for-mk8-extruder-p-904.html
I received this kit and started assembling it. However in the first step, there are six (6) MOTOR HOLDER SUPPORT part #A4. One of them is too thick, it is about 1mm thicker than the other 5 ones. So the tabs on the part do not fit into the square holes on MOTOR HOLDER part #A3. Also, this part #A4 will be too thick to fit into the square holes on BASE PLATE RK-02. This is very poor quality control and I am very disappointed. How quickly can you expedite a new part #A4 to me with the correct dimensions?
Hello, for sales, delivery and replacement question please contact this e-mail sales@geeetech.com Please describe your question and provide your order number in your e-mail and my colleague in sales department will help you to solve your problem. Thank you
My LCD stays on when USB is plugged in but power turned off. If I unplug the USB then the LCD goes off is there a fix for this ? Jumper setting or something it would seem like it should go off when power is off

I received my printer from a reseller but it is missing the upper pulleys for the belt. How can I get these pulleys?
Sorry for the late reply, we spent our Chinese New Year vacation for a couple of days. Please contact the reseller to get the pulleys.
Just received my printer this Wednesday, and now, saturday morning i'm doing my first proper print :). Very pleased with this kit. I have experience with Prusa i3's from earlier so that probably helped, but the calibration was nowhere near as complicated as i got the impression from other posts it would be. This kit have the best instructions i ever seen from a chinese kit anywhere! Build was easy, all the parts was there, and now the print quality is just excelent. Very happy with this purchase :)
Hi, thank you for your comment, glad to know you like the printer.
What are all the tools I will need to build this printer? include everything please. I am a student away at a university and need to make sure I get all the necessary items prior to ordering. Also, how fast will this arrive to Michigan?
Hello Ryan, the printer will come with tools you will need to use. They're in one package.Usually it takes 5-7 days.
The Quick Starter Manual requests I download a file called G2.ini but I cannot find it, is this file essential?
Hello William, this is a slicing configuration for reference, you can download it here http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/Geeetech_G2_%26_G2s_pro#Related_source
It is a nice printer. But the assembly instructions don't match the modified equipment. The instructions show all plastic parts. The new printer has metal parts. You might want to correct that.
Hello Sheldon, thank you for your suggestion.
Here's the upgraded printer instructions: http://bit.ly/upgraded-g2s-instructions
Good morning, yesterday my new pringar arrived at home, my question is, if the díameter´s nozzdel is 0.4 mm? Thanks
Hello Javier,yes it is.
Does this printer support PVA? (as the prusa i3 does)
It supports PLA, ABS, Nylon and Wood filament.
How long is the processing time after you ordered this printer? I'm asking because I ordered it on the 28th November and it still says 'Processing' in my order history.
Hi Yannick, for sales and delivery problem ,you can contact this e-mail: sales@geeetech.com Thank you.
I wrote a tutorial on how to calibrate the effective X/Y axis of this printer, so you can get better print precision (I managed to get from 2mm print precision to 0.4mm precision) - good luck! http://grauonline.de/wordpress/?page_id=1118
thanks very much
Hi, When you telling about measures distances to hot end - which one you speak about?
Hello , I succesfully assembled the printer and begun a print after the calibration. First with only one extruder, and it worked. But when i want to print with two extruders, there is a big gap ( about 2 or 3 mm ) between the plate and the extruders , and the movements are not paralles to the plate
Hi you can contact this e-mail sherry.li@geeetech.cn for technical support, or you can go to our forum to post your problem. http://www.geeetech.com/forum/
Mathieu, did you resolve this problem? I have exactly the same problem
I have a problem, the LCD shows err: MINTEMP BED, someone who can help me ? And check the connection of sensors and apparently are well
Hi Emmanuel, you can refer to this link: http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=17030
Can you send it to Mexico?
Hello Javier, yes we can send it to Mexico.
How much cost the shipping?
Hello Javier, please add the products in your cart ,then you can see the shipping cost.
Is there a parts list for this unit? I want to order replacement parts.
Hello Eric, here is the link of the metal parts for upgrading G2S to G2S Pro. http://www.geeetech.com/g2s-upgrade-kit-p-954.html You can order this to replace plastic parts of your G2S with metal ones.
Could you update the pack list.xls file please. This file is for the I3 Dual Extender model, not for the GS2 model. Could you update the file name to something that refered to the model (eg: packinglist G2S.xls etc...). Also it is very helpful if you can print the info of the washers, screws on the part number stickers. This info is very helpful that speeding up the picking & identifying the part. Eg: 14 M3x30mm ... Regards, Peter Ng.
Hello Peter, thanks a lot for your precious advice. We will consider your suggestion carefully and do our best to provide better service for customers.
Is a G2s Pro upgrade kit available for converting the original (plastic parts) G2/G2s to the Pro version?
Yes, you can change the plastic parts into metal parts, please contact our online customer service, thank you.
me too
Can I mount E3D V6 hot ends on this? Because i print with PET+ that requires up to 270C Will Simplify3D work with this?
Hello Chris, sorry to tell you that E3D V6 is not compatible with it.
Hello, I just bought this printer, is there any option to increase maximum extruder temperature from 240C to 260C? Please advise thanks.
Hello Eugenio,if your extruder is a metal one, its temperature can reach 250℃, but you'd better control it within 250℃;if your extruder is a plastic J-head, control it under 240℃
Anyone have any idea how long it takes for an order to arrive in the USA? I got this a week ago and I have not even gotten a tracking number... thanks.
