    I did not read the description carefully. There other boards that look like this and use the LM2596 chip that will boost the voltage. This is not one of them. This one will deliver about 0.2v less than the supply voltage at the highest. So it functions as a VR without the usual 1.5v overhead requirement. Unfortunately, that is not what I thought I was buying. My fault.
